There’s always a problem when it comes to football pitches in Romania and Targoviste is no exception. The most important team from town (not there are too many), Chindia is fighting for Liga1 promotion this season, currently ranked 3rd. On last Saturday they had a home match against Luceafarul Oradea (ranked 13th). After 12 minutes into the game, Luceafarul player, Tegle had an incredible chance to open the score but he missed with an empty goal. Players often blame the pitches for their misses, but apparently here is not the case. 🙂
Chindia Targoviste won by 2 goals to 1 and secured the 3rd place on the table.
