Both Romanian teams playing in the 3rd preliminary round of Europa League lost their matches in the first leg and have almost no chance to go through.

Pandurii Targiu Jiu lost at home against Israeli team, Maccabi Tel Aviv with 3-1. Maccabi scored first in the 7th minute. Tal Ben Haim II put his name on the scoresheet first. KAA Gent 5-0 FC Viitorul
Unexperienced Viitorul lost any chance to qualify for the Europa League Play-off after 5-0 loss in Belgium against Gent. This was Hagi’s team first official international match in the club’s history. Unfortunately, for him and his team, the debut was as worse as it could get. Mitrovic opened the scored in the 16th minute, Coulibaly scored for 2-0 in the 37th minute.
