The highly anticipated start of Romania’s Superliga season is just around the corner, with the first matchday scheduled to take place on July 18-19. The Liga Profesionistă de Fotbal (LPF) has officially released the fixture list for the opening week, which promises to be an exciting one for football fans in Romania.
The season’s curtain-raiser will see newly-promoted FC Voluntari take on FC Botoșani at their home ground on July 18 at 6:30 PM. The match will be broadcast live on Prima Sport 1 and Digi Sport 1, with a live text feed available on the LPF’s official website.
The first day of the season will also feature a matchup between FCSB and FC Argeș, adding to the excitement of the opening weekend.
The Champions’ Debut
