Anderlecht’s away win at APOEL in the 1/8-finals of Europa League has been signed by Nicolae Stanciu’s only goal assisted by Alexandru Chipciu. This is Stanciu’s 4th goal of the season in Europe and Anderlecht’s 250th goal in UEFA competitions. Chipciu is also on the Europa League top scorer’s list with one goal and 3 assists.

Stanciu is yet to date Belgium’s most expensive player. Anderlecht transferred him from Steaua for approx. 10M €. Alexandru Chipciu has been also bought from Steaua for 3M €.
