But I have faith that things will move in a positive direction, and the team will have a much better season than the previous one, and here I refer to winning at least one trophy, because the team has grown from year to year, but hasn’t won anything in terms of trophies.”

Dănciulescu also discussed the title race in Superliga, highlighting that the transfer window is still open and that the hierarchy can change until its closure. “There are still many days left in the transfer window, so anything can happen. At the moment, FCSB is a bit weakened, considering Olaru’s departure. Let’s see what happens with Tănase, if he leaves as well. Then, it will be a big problem for the team.” Dănciulescu emphasized that the Romanian league is highly competitive, and teams like Universitatea Craiova, who have retained their squad and added some new players, could be serious contenders for the title.
Dănciulescu also shared his thoughts on the increasing number of Portuguese coaches in Romanian football, considering it a global trend. “Portuguese coaches? It’s a worldwide trend!” he exclaimed.
