The Romanian capital’s most beloved club, F.C. Rapid București, has unveiled its new kits for the 2026/2027 season in a grand ceremony at Plus Auto Trade. While the team is currently in pre-season training in Austria, Rapid’s management took the opportunity to showcase their latest attire, complete with a bold new design and a nod to the club’s storied history.

The New Kits: A Blend of Tradition and Innovation

Rapid’s home kit, produced by Kappa, remains true to the club’s heritage while incorporating a fresh twist. The dominant purple and white color scheme is now complemented by horizontal stripes, adding a dynamic touch to the classic design. A stylish polo collar and the traditional Rapid crest on the left chest add a touch of sophistication. Meanwhile, the back of the shirt proudly displays the iconic phrase “Singuri împotriva tuturor” (Alone Against All).

Napoleon Games Takes Center Stage

The new kit also marks a significant change in sponsorship, with Napoleon Games replacing Superbet as the primary sponsor. The brand’s logo is prominently displayed on the right chest, while a stylized image of Napoleon Bonaparte adorns the front of the away kit. This unique design pays homage to the friendly rivalry between Rapid and Politehnica Timișoara, with the violet color scheme making a triumphant return.

A Tribute to Rapid’s Legends

The new kits feature an impressive list of legendary Rapid players, including Ilie Greavu, Teo Codreanu, Niculae Lupescu, Rică Răducanu, Nichi Dumitriu, and Valentin Stănescu. These icons of the club’s rich history are immortalized on the fabric of the kits, serving as a poignant reminder of Rapid’s proud heritage.

Despite being absent from the ceremony, F.C. Rapid București’s manager, Daniel Pancu, expressed his enthusiasm for the new kits, stating, “We like the shirts. We’ve seen them. We hope to achieve great things with them.”

As the new season approaches, Rapid fans can look forward to a fresh start, complete with a bold new look and a renewed sense of purpose. With the team’s rich history and the fans’ unwavering spirit, there’s no doubt that Rapid will be a force to be reckoned with in the 2026/2027 campaign.
