Luka Juricic has officially departed CFR Cluj after 18 appearances totaling 627 minutes and scoring twice for the Romanian side. The Bosnian forward has signed a permanent deal with FK Borac Banja Luka, a club that notably faced CFR Cluj in the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds in the past.

Juricic joined CFR Cluj in the summer of 2023 from Armenian club Pyunik Erevan but struggled to secure a regular spot under coach Dan Petrescu. In 2024, he was loaned back to Pyunik and did not feature in any official matches for CFR Cluj after returning. His market value stands at approximately €150,000, according to transfermarkt data.

CFR Cluj publicly thanked Juricic and wished him success in his career as he embarks on this new chapter in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Borac Banja Luka, who finished second in their domestic league, offers Juricic the opportunity to compete again in European competitions, specifically the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.

This transfer marks CFR Cluj’s continued reshaping of their attacking options following their opening loss of the new season in the Romanian Supercup and ahead of their UEFA Europa League qualifying match against Paksi.
