Rapid Bucharest transferred 28-year-old Slovakian striker, Jakub Vojtuš from the Hungarian top tier team, Mezokovesd. His deal with the Rapid is valid for a period of 1.5 years. Vojtuš is familiar with the Romanian football as he previously played for Universitatea Cluj (2015/16 Liga2 season), Academica Clinceni (2019/20 Liga1 season) and CFR Cluj (2020/21 Liga1 season).

“I want to thank Rapid for the interest in me. The interest was in the summer as well. I am happy that I arrived here in the end. I chose Rapid because I know few players, I know the city, I know the manager. I followed the team in the second part of the Liga2 season. I liked a lot the project. I can’t wait to play on the new stadium. It will be extraordinary for both players and fans.“
