As CSM București gears up for the 2025/2026 season, the club has welcomed new signings and awaits the return of key player Elizabeth Omoregie, who is currently enjoying a brief holiday on the Greek island of Corfu. Omoregie, the Slovenian international and second top scorer of the 2024/25 EHF Champions League with 103 goals, will reunite with the team ahead of training under new coach Adrian Vasile, who replaces Helle Thomsen and previously worked with her. The reigning Romanian champions aim to secure the national title, the Romanian Cup, and qualify once again for the prestigious EHF Final Four, continuing their pursuit of European success following Cristina Neagu’s recent retirement. Omoregie’s return symbolizes CSM’s blend of experience and ambition as they rebuild for a competitive season.
