Constantin Budescu, the former FCSB 32-year-old midfielder signed a contract with FC Voluntari for a period of 6 months. Budescu has been negotiating with Sepsi OSK but the Romanian international chose Voluntari because “It’s a very good team and it’s a better position. I have friends here and it was much more easier to choose and it’s also close to my home.”

Currently, FC Voluntari is on 3rd in Liga1 with 37 points. CFR Cluj is the leader with 57 points followed by FCSB with 47. Botoșani (34), Universitatea Craiova (32) and Farul (32) are currently the teams qualified for the Play-Off.
