Metaloglobus București has officially announced the signing of Bruno Moreira, a 27-year-old central midfielder from Cape Verde, marking the club’s second acquisition this summer following Desley Ubbink. Moreira arrives at the newly promoted SuperLiga side on a contract running until June 30, 2026.

Before joining Metaloglobus, Moreira spent his entire career in Portugal, developing through the youth ranks at GD Chaves and featuring for several clubs including CDC Montalegre, ARC Oleiros, Sacavenense, União Santarém, GS Loures, Oliveira do Hospital, Anadia FC, and most recently Tirsense. During the 2024-25 season with Tirsense, he helped the team reach the semifinals of the Portuguese Cup, where they were eventually eliminated by Benfica.

Internationally, Moreira has represented Cape Verde at the U19 and U20 levels, adding an international dimension to his profile as he steps into Romanian football.

Metaloglobus, competing in Romania’s top flight for the first time this season, continues to strengthen its squad with players like Moreira who bring diverse experience and potential. This signing reflects the club’s ambition to establish itself in the SuperLiga and build a competitive roster capable of sustaining top-tier football.

The acquisition of Bruno Moreira signals Metaloglobus’ strategic approach to recruitment, focusing on versatile midfield talent with international experience as they prepare for their inaugural SuperLiga campaign.
