Dan Alexa is the new coach of ASA Targu Mures after Dario Bonetti left the team. Alexa started his coaching career 2 years ago when he was appointed ACS Poli Timisoara’s coach. He succeeded to promote the team to Romania’s top division. Shortly after, Alexa moved to Bucharest when he lead Rapid in the second league winning his second promotion to Liga1 in two consecutive seasons.

As a player, Dan Alexa among other teams, played for Universitatea Craiova, Dinamo Bucharest, Poli Timisoara and Rapid Bucharest. He also has 6 caps for Romania’s national team.
