CSM Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț has been actively reinforcing its lineup ahead of the 2025-2026 Liga 2 season. The club has announced several key signings, including Răzvan Matiș, a midfielder with extensive experience across various Romanian clubs. Matiș, known for his versatility, has played for teams like CFC Argeș, Petrolul Ploiești, and Chindia Târgoviște, and most recently, SCM Zalău in Liga 3. He joins Ceahlăul after a productive stint at Zalău, where he featured in 22 matches, scoring five goals.
Additionally, Ceahlăul has secured loan deals for Antonio Suciu from U Cluj and Răzvan Buțerchi from Gloria Ultra. Suciu, a 2006-born midfielder, gained valuable experience last season with Minaur Baia Mare in Liga 3, while Buțerchi, a 23-year-old midfielder, brings skills honed at FC Botoșani and Politehnica Iași.
Tudor Telcean, a 23-year-old defender, has also returned to Ceahlăul on a permanent contract after his previous stint with the club. His career has seen him play for U Cluj, CFC Argeș, and Poli Iași, among others.
As Ceahlăul prepares for the new season, these signings reflect the club’s ambition to strengthen its position in Liga 2 under new leadership.
The influx of new talent could significantly boost Ceahlăul’s competitiveness in the upcoming Liga 2 season.
