Lorand Fulop, a former Liga I player with over 170 top-flight appearances, has signed a two-year contract with Șoimii Gura Humorului in Liga 3. This move follows his departure from FK Csikszereda, which recently earned promotion to the SuperLiga. Born in Târgu Mureș, Fulop has played for several clubs, including Sepsi OSK, FC Botoșani, and Universitatea Cluj, and has been capped twice by Romania’s U21 team in 2019.

Fulop’s career has been marked by significant experience, with 20 goals scored in Liga I. His signing is part of Șoimii Gura Humorului’s efforts to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season, following a third-place finish in the play-out phase of Liga 3’s Series 1 last season.

The addition of Fulop, along with other new signings like Andrei Sahlean and Demian Popovici, signals the team’s ambitions for promotion. Notably, Șoimii Gura Humorului also boasts experienced players like Cornel Căinari and Cătălin Ștefănescu in their lineup.

Fulop’s arrival underscores Șoimii Gura Humorului’s clear intent to push for promotion in the coming season.
