Romanian football club Metaloglobus has bolstered its squad with the signing of Bruno José Moreira Barreto Carvalho, a 27-year-old midfielder from Cape Verde. Moreira, who has played exclusively in Portugal, joins Metaloglobus following a successful stint with Tirsense, where he reached the semifinals of the Portuguese Cup in the 2024-25 season. Notably, Tirsense competes in the fourth tier of Portuguese football.

Moreira began his career with GD Chaves’ youth team and has played for several clubs, including CDC Montalegre, ARC Oleiros, Sacavenense, União Santarém, GS Loures, Oliveira do Hospital, Anadia FC, and Tirsense. He has been selected for Cape Verde’s U19 and U20 national teams on multiple occasions.

This signing marks Metaloglobus’s second transfer of the summer, following the arrival of Desley Ubbink. As a newly promoted team to the Superliga, Metaloglobus is actively strengthening its lineup in preparation for the upcoming season.

The addition of Bruno Moreira could enhance Metaloglobus’s midfield depth and provide a fresh perspective ahead of their debut in the top tier.
