Astra ended with a draw on their first appearance in the Champions League preliminaries. Astra scored first against the Danish champions, FC København. The ball luckily gets to Boudjemaa who passes to Teixeira. Astra’s attacking midfielder shoots on the goal, Olsen couldn’t save it and Romanians took the lead. It was just 7 minutes since the match started.

København had a better game in the second part, pressing most of the time. The equalizer in the 64th minute when Delaney gave no chance to Astra’s goalkeeper, Siviu Lung Jr. Astra 1, København 1. The second leg will take place next week in the Danish capital with Astra keeping some chances to qualify.
