Alexandru Maxim was one of Stuttgart’s best men in the 2-1 home win against St. Pauli in the first round of Germany’s second tier. Maxim started on the bench but was went in in the second half when St. Pauli was leading 1 to nothing. The opener was signed by  Bouhaddouz in the 28th minute. The 26 year old Romanian midfielder, scored Stuttgart’s equalizer in the 67’minute. This was the team’s first goal in the new 2.Bundesliga. He also contributed to his team’s winning goal, scored by Getner in the 87th minute.

Alexandru Maxim plays for VfB Stuttgart since 2013. Previously he played for Pandurii Targu Jiu. He has 27 caps and 2 goals for Romania’s national team.
